Humans of TapMango: Juliana
Meet Juliana! She is TapMango’s wonderful Human Resources Coordinator. She is the one who finds all the wonderful humans who work at TapMango! See what she loves about her role, and how it’s evolved since joining the TM team, and take a look at the advice she would tell her younger self if she could!
What is your position at TapMango? How has it evolved since you started?
I started in December 2021 on a contract for human resources recruitment, 10 months later, I was the Human Resources department intern and just before I finished I was offered a full time position as a Human Resources Coordinator and it’s been 6 months since that.
What are some aspects of your role that you really enjoy?
I love talking to different people, being able to find the right person to join the team and after they join, knowing that they are thriving and they are happy working here – that makes me happy.
What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done yet? Why not?
Having a dog rescue foundation in Colombia, that is something that I’ve always wanted to do because there you can see dogs on the streets. I don’t have the space or the money to start one, but I always make sure I’m constantly donating to the ones that are working.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I looove breakfast food so I would have: Scrambled eggs with cheese, Colombian arepa and coffee.
What is something your work colleagues don’t know about you?
I have the worst music taste on the planet and I love watching Mexican novelas (best drama ever 100% recommend + they always use first and second name and I think that gives it more spice).
What is one piece of advice you would tell 8 year old you? (on career pursuit, life, laughter and love)
Everything will pass, so don’t worry about anything and enjoy little happy moments.
Top 3 binge-worthy shows, book series, or movies? (And Why?)
All Coleen Hoover books are so addictive, I love the way she writes all of her stories are amazing. My favorite movie is I Feel Pretty, I think it has a strong message and its funny.
